    • Educational Qualifications
      • For Secondary Level (Classes IX–X): Graduate or Postgraduate with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post-Graduation from a recognized university, plusEd. from an NCTE-recognized institution; OR a 4-year integrated degree: B.A.Ed. or B.Sc.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.
      • For Higher Secondary Level (Classes XI–XII): Postgraduate with at least 50% marks, plusEd. from NCTE-recognized institution; OR Postgraduate with 50% marks plus B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. from NCTE-recognized institution.

Note: Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PwD) are eligible for a 5% relaxation in educational qualification marks.

  • WBSSC SLST Syllabus
    • For Classes IX–X (Graduate-level teachers)
      Subjects include:
    • Mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, arithmetic)
    • Science (physics, chemistry, biology, life science)
    • Social Science (history, geography, civics)
    • Languages – English, Bengali, Hindi, Nepali, Sanskrit, Urdu, Santhali, etc.
    • Other subjects like Education, Physical Science, Fine Arts, Computer Applications, Music, etc.
