- For Secondary Level (Classes IX–X): Graduate or Postgraduate with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post-Graduation from a recognized university, plusEd. from an NCTE-recognized institution; OR a 4-year integrated degree: B.A.Ed. or B.Sc.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.
- For Higher Secondary Level (Classes XI–XII): Postgraduate with at least 50% marks, plusEd. from NCTE-recognized institution; OR Postgraduate with 50% marks plus B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. from NCTE-recognized institution.

Note: Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PwD) are eligible for a 5% relaxation in educational qualification marks.
