Central teaching exams are conducted by various central government bodies and agencies, each catering to specific levels of education and teaching positions. Some of the prominent central teaching exams in India include the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET), and the Recruitment Examination for Teachers in Kendriya Vidyalayas & Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas conducted by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) & the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) respectively.
Central teaching exams have a profound impact on the education sector in India by ensuring the recruitment of competent and qualified teachers who possess the necessary pedagogical skills, subject knowledge, and teaching aptitude. These exams uphold standards of excellence in teaching and contribute to the overall improvement of the quality of education imparted in central government institutions.
Mindful of their importance, we have dedicated this section of our website to various Central Teaching Exams. Herein, we have dissected the exam patterns of major Central Teaching Exams (namely- NTA UGC-NET, CTET, KVS PRT TGT PGT, NVS TGT PGT). We have also devised strategies on how aspirants can crack these exams and score higher marks. Additionally, we have provided the detailed syllabus for these exams. Wherever there are one or more common papers, we have provided detailed syllabus for each of those and for the optional subjects we have provided syllabi for the ones that are popular among aspirants.
It is noteworthy that we provide books and courses curated specifically for these Central Exams as well. Currently, we are running courses and publishing books based on NTA UGC-NET, which includes books and courses on Paper-1 and various subjects under the Paper-2 (e.g. Political Science, History, Hindi & English Literature) in both Hindi and English languages.

UGC-NET
